Why the Vagus Nerve Matters
The vagus nerve runs from the brainstem to the heart, lungs and digestive organs. It is the main pathway of the parasympathetic nervous system, the side of your nervous system that helps you rest, digest and recover.
Ongoing stress keeps the body leaning toward fight-or-flight, which can affect sleep, digestion, mood and healing. This workshop explains how that balance works and teaches practical tools, like breathing and other simple daily habits, to help your body feel safe enough to heal.
